How should I care for my fabric ?
Any fabrics that have special care instructions have the instructions listed in the item listing . For ones that don’t we recommend as a rule of thumb;

- Always prewash your fabric prior to construction. The first wash not only acts as a pre-shrink but it also removes any production chemicals or dirt and will help set the dye.

- Wash with like colors and use Color Catchers in the first wash to protect loose dye from affecting other fabrics

- After construction , washing on cold and laying flat to dry will help protect the stretch and weave of the fabric, for a longer life .

Do you accept Returns ?

We are unable to offer refunds for fabric that has been washed or cut. Please ensure fabric is inspected within 7 days of receiving.

If you are unhappy with a fabric, and it has not been washed or cut, you may send it back to us for a full refund. Please notify us that it will be coming back so we know to watch for it, buyer is responsible for return postage of the fabric and the Refund will be processed after the item has been received back to the shop.

Other notable policies

Shear Perfection Fabric is not accountable for any fading, piling, or color bleeding issues.  However please reach out to us as we would really like to know if a product has an issue from our suppliers.

In the event of receiving a flawed fabric, please check the measurements and we will always include extra yardage to account for the flawed area, unless this was overlooked.

Flaws which can be covered by a dime or is within 3 inches of the edges of a digital custom printed fabric is not considered a flaw. Because flaws are quite common, 5 meters and up will not be guaranteed to be in a continuous cut.

Digital screens are all very different depending on settings and we do our best to accurately depict colours and shades. If you need help coordinating or matching a fabric, contact us prior to ordering and we will be happy to help.
