Small Batch Printing

What you need to know BEFORE getting started.
1) Your design.
Shear Perfection Fabric does NOT currently offer design services - you must be submitting a COMPLETE file - ready for printing.
Designs must be 300 DPI
* When you buy a file - this information is generally stated in the listing - for example from this ETSY seller ....
You must have rights or permission (license) to print copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise protected material per our Terms of Service and relevant law. Most design files will say in the listing if it includes a "License for personal use" or what other limitations you have when using their art.
We do not accept content that references or is "inspired" by celebrities, fictional characters, businesses, companies, sports teams, tv shows, and the like.
We will not print political, offensive or culturally inappropriate designs and reserve the right to decline ANY design we are unsure of or unqualified to assess.
Important information to look for BEFORE purchasing your design file:
Is the design " Seamless" or "Tileable" - this means that the designs can be placed side by side row by row and it will be repeated without a flaw in the design.
Most designs will say this in the description.
If you would like to check your file quickly there are free sites such as these that will give you a quick view of your file. See examples below.

This file is seamless - it repeats cleanly so you can not see within the edges where it starts and ends
This file is NOT seamless - You can see a glitch in the design where it is starting over.
* Ensure your design is seamless - Shear Perfection Fabric is not responsible for any defects in your provided design.
2) Provide us with the scale you would like your design printed.
Scale can be provided by using one of the elements or by the total file size ( see examples below)
In this example you could say " I would like each flower to be 2 inches tall"
or
In this example you could say " I would like the file to be printed at 12 inches x 12 inches "
* Please note - scale can vary about 5% depending on the design.

3) Choose a " Base Fabric " for your design to be printed on. Our list of fabrics will expand, but currently available is :
**Colors will print more vibrant on Polyester bases than cotton. If you are ordering multiple bases - you need to note that colors WILL be different between bases.
4) Ordering
Orders can be placed directly on our Website using this listing

Once you have submitted your order - please email your file to shearperfectionstaff@outlook.com . You will receive a confirmation of receipt within 2 business days.
Custom printed fabric is sold in 1 Meter intervals - minimum per print is 1 meter purchase.
If in error less than your requested amount arrives we will contact you and discount the yardage according to the shortage, or reorder you additional if it is less than you need for your project.
If we have extra we reserve the right to sell the extra or use it for samples etc.
If you are ordering multiple files - please add them to your cart separately and SPECIFY FILE NAME AND SIZE in the scale section as shown here .....
In your Cart you will then be able to see each file, base, scale and amount ordered separately.
5) Shipping
You are welcome to use any of our provided shipping options for your purchase including cubbies. You may combine with instock items but the instock items will only ship together with your printing order when it arrives.
* You will be notified if there is a delay and we expect it to be later than 6 weeks. Shipping and customs clearance are out of our control and refunds will not be given for shipping or customs delays. We will however be actively keeping you in the loop on progress, and you will be able to see the status of " Small Batch printing for ex. " April Batch", in our weekly updates every Thursday. Weekly updates are provided on Facebook as well as on the website.
6) Turn Around time
The average Turn around time is 4-6 weeks for printing from the time we order to the time it arrives to the shop for processing and checking.
Batch orders are placed the end of each month at a minimum - they may be placed more often if we are ordering.
Feb Batch - ordered Feb 28
March Batch - to be ordered March 27th
April Batch - to be ordered April 30th
May Batch - to be ordered May 28th
*** to reiterate - there will often be additional orders placed in addition to these batches so if you have your order in sooner - it may be ordered in an earlier batch.
7) Errors
If your print is flawed when it arrives to the shop to be checked we will reach out to you to come to a resolution such as a reprint, discount or refund.

Placement Examples on Panels
Panels have the Placement centered and the designs are 4 inches down from the top for children and 5 inches down from the top for Adults.
Please provide the scale of the file that you would like for your panel. We will place it as close to center as possible and down the above stated distance. Some size examples have been provided below for your reference so you may go larger or smaller according to your vision.

Mock Up are a $5 surcharge per mock-up ( Choice of Childs Hoodie , Adult Hoodie , Adult Leggings , Baby Sleeper, Childs dress, if you have another request we may have a file - just ask)

For Custom Printing we offer " Buy 10 meters get 1 meter free" ( this is repeatable, buy 20 - get 2 meters, and so on)

Can my friends also order?
Yep you bet! Have your friend place their order and state that the file will be provided by " Your name".
But the Buy10 get 1 will only apply if you place it all together on 1 order and it is all getting shipped to 1 place.
Could I order a sample?
We do have sample books of available bases for small batch printing available.

You can see how the colors are saturated differently among the bases as well as get an idea of a couple different scales.
* We do not provide a sample of Your Design, the sample books are created using a Shear Perfection Fabric Design.

Shipping:
Once we deliver your order to the shipment carrier the sole risk of loss transfers to you. You are solely responsible for all shipping, customs, and other charges.

Use of an account and password on our site requires that you log out after each session and keep your password confidential. You must immediately notify us if you suspect that your password was compromised. We are not responsible for failure to abide by these conditions.
You agree that SPF has the sole, uncontestable right to terminate your account for any reason, at any time, without any claim for damages whatsoever.
Content
We use an automated process for submitting files for printing and cannot individually review each submission for content. Yet, we reserve the absolute unqualified, unconditional right to reject or remove any content that does not meet standards for legality, obscenity, cultural appropriation, politics and our own subjective sense of decency. Our execution of your submission does not constitute an endorsement of your content. You remain completely responsible for the content of your submissions.
Be aware that third parties take content from our site for re-posting, this may include your profile picture and other information you post publicly on our site. You agree to hold SPF harmless from any dispute and explicitly waive any claims for losses, damages, or injuries related to content posted on our site concerning third parties taking content from our site and re-posting it elsewhere.
Intellectual Property
You retain all intellectual property rights to content uploaded to our site. You grant SPF a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide license for reproduction, printing, advertising and the like for uploaded content. This means we can print product using your content, advertise products displaying your content, etc.
You represent and warrant that: you have the legal right to reproduce and distribute content you upload, that no intellectual property right will be violated, you are in compliance with all relevant law, regulation, and case law, that you have the lawful right to reproduce and distribute such Content; you are not misrepresenting any person or entity, etc.
Privacy
We collect and store personal information on this site. We do not sell or share this information outside of SPF and Shopify.
We will share your personal information if there is a claim of you violating intellectual property rights or other illegal activity.
We will retain that information for so long as necessary for the proper adjudication of the dispute.
General Indemnification and Waiver.
You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SPF, its employees, owners, officers, agents, subsidiaries, and the like from all claims, demands, and damages, whether actual or consequential, and explicitly waive any claim, known or unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, airing out of your use of this site and the terms of this Agreement.
